Reflection for Pronunciation Exercises, Cycle 2

I think that I made good goals and activities for myself this past cycle - they were attainable, and they were specific enough to allow for definite improvement. Unfortunately, I again had trouble staying committed to the schedule I set out for myself. I did run through dialogues a few times a week, but I only submitted one extra shadowing exercise. Doing the exercises and practicing daily is tough, but it is possible, and I really feel that consistency is the key to improvement. For all of these reasons, I have to give PE my all for the third and final cycle.

Despite not sticking to my intended schedule, I think that I did improve over the course of Cycle 2. I now have a better understanding of the intonation of questions, both those that end in ~か and those that end in plain form verbs. I think that my intonation improved with ~か questions that have a falling intonation before the か, which is good. I still need to work on the flat intonation questions, but at least I am now aware of them in my speech. The plain form verbs will be challenging, but I will try to keep the proper pitch/intonation in mind when using them.
