Jin―仁―

仁（じん）です。仁が　大すきです。

"Jin" follows the story of a brain surgeon named 　南方（みなかた）仁　who is mysteriously transported back in time to the end of the Edo period. Armed only with his knowledge of medicine and history, he slowly adjusts to living in the bygone era and searches for a way to return to the future.

I had never watched a Japanese drama before this one, and I thought that trying one out would be a good experience. I think that さとう先生 mentioned this particular drama at にほんごテーブル and I eventually found it online.

I really enjoy 仁 and recommend it to anyone interested in watching a　ドラマ. The plot is engaging, the characters are fairly well developed, and there's plenty of drama! And, as far as I can tell, "Jin" is relatively historically accurate. Some of the main characters were actually alive at the end of the Edo period, which adds some extra depth to the story line. All-in-all, I think Jin―仁― is a great drama and well worth watching - try it out!
